The beautifully styled room featured little treats and a cozy upstairs bathroom, adding to the charm. Dining was a highlight, with dinner served at a comfortable pace and the full English breakfast cooked to order without heaviness. the room had a slightly grubby feel, impacting the overall experience, and the atmosphere sometimes hinted at pretension among fellow guests.

The cozy atmosphere of the inn combined with excellent evening meals made for a delightful stay. The complimentary treats in the room were a nice touch, but the noise from the bar was a bit disruptive.

Charming stay with fab food!
Had a lovely night in a cool inn. The ribeye steak was out of this world, cooked just right! The staff were super friendly and helped with my bags, which was nice. The only bummer was the tiny bathroom, could’ve used a bit more space. Otherwise, totally enjoyed it here!

this place is super cosy and the staff are really friendly. we had dinner there both nights and food was excellent. loved the little treats in our room, like the hamper with goodies. breakfast was on point, and you could tell they care a lot about making guests feel welcome. also, the location was perfect for exploring the cotswolds, just outside stow-on-the-wold.
the shower had low water pressure and one part of the room was kind of dark where the tea and coffee machine was. coulda used another lamp there.
